Community Free Basics of Yoga coming in October and November

Hello K Fit Community!

It is so amazing that Fall is here already - back to school is in full swing, the days are getting shorter, the weather is getting cooler and crisper, and I even see some leaves starting to turn!

We are excited to introduce our community to a new yoga instructor - Lita Batho - who will be offering some Basics of Yoga - Community Free classes for us in October and November. Community Free means just that - free! - to our community AND to others that you might want to invite to these classes.  Classes will be held at the following dates/times:

Monday, October 10th, 7pm - 8pm

Monday, October 17th, 7pm - 8pm

Tuesday, November 8th, 7pm - 8pm

Tuesday, November 15th, 7pm - 8pm

These classes will include classic yoga poses, and the opportunity to repair and reset your physical structure while using breath, attention and movement to the level appropriate for You.  The strength of yoga practice is that it supports our system from the inside out, so that by cultivating coordination, breathing, and awareness, your whole body and mind will be supported.

Our teacher, Lita, draws from over 20 years of experience teaching and practicing yoga, and appreciates the spectrum of abilities and needs of different students.

Lita Batho has studied yoga since 1994 and taught since 2000.  With a background in Vinyasa, Astanga and Hatha yoga, LIta teaches classes, workshops, and private lessons in the Pacific Northwest.  Since 2002 she has studied Shadow Yoga with the school's founder, Zhander Remete, and has been teaching Shadow Yoga (a style of Hatha yoga focused on taking things step by step and building a practice 'from the ground up') since 2006.

Whether you are looking for more flexibiity and less stress, or to cultivate longevity and greater levels of awareness and contentment through yoga, Lita meets students where they are and provides modifications and/or suggestions to proceed step by step, without force, and with just the right amount of challenge.

Please join us for one (or all!) of these classes.  You can sign up for these classes in MindBody, and as space is limited, please sign up early!
